Trip to Willow Bank

At 23rd of May we went to a zoo called Willow Bank with our ESOL teacher. We studied the the native birds and found out what they do for living and what they eat. We learnt about the biggest birds and eagles in the world that went extinct long time ago. And then we had a look at the animals that we haven't seen and then we looked for the information about them.

We took off to the Willow Bank at the start of morning tea with the rest of the class using a private van. When we finally got to the zoo the first thing I did was eat the rest of my food that I was just eating before we rode the private van and then took pictures. We didn't go inside the Willow Bank because we were waiting for our ESOL teacher. 

And then when we finally went inside the Willow Bank the first animal we had a look at was the kunekune pigs there were also hungry chickens following us around. Then we went to see the next animal which was the horse, donkey and the others and we weren't just looking at the animals, we were also feeding them. There were a lot of interesting animals in the zoo and most of them were very friendly to the other animals and the humans.

When we were done going around the Willow Bank we had lunch which what I was waiting for the most. When we were going back to the cafe, the teacher told us that we could go around the Willow Bank again and have a look at the animals that we haven't seen yet. Unfortunately we didn't get to see all the animals in the zoo because it was almost time to go back to the school otherwise we would make it there in time.

Eye Dissection: Eye: 3 things i've learnt

The first thing I have learnt about the eye is that I learnt the every important parts of the eye and the things that makes us see things and the thing that sends the images to our brain. 

The second thing I didn't know was that I didn't know that the white part of the eye was almost hard as a marble. 

The last thing I learnt that I didn't know was that the pupil can make the hole part of the eye bigger or smaller.
